Agent Phase During the Agent phase of AI Poker, player Agents will play real poker on the players behalf. Agents will play vs other Agents in a hands-free phase, playing until the tournament reaches the money payouts. If your Agent makes it to the money, you get to take over the Agent’s chipstack and continue the final stage of the tournament in the PVP phase, in a human-vs-human format.

There will be multiple formats of AI Poker including SNGs, MTTs, varying field sizes and pay tables, re-entry, and knockouts with bounties. Some formats will have longer AI phases and some will be shorter. A fun combination of Luck + Skill

• During the Agent phase of the tournaments, WAIGER provides a viewing experience to visualize the progress of the tournament in a condensed format, seeing leaderboard rankings and key highlights throughout the sweat. This takes 2-3 minutes opposed to 6-8 hours of late registrations and rebuys in traditional poker.

• You can think of this as a ‘poker slot machine’ where you are gambling on a final table or in-the-money tournament. Your bonus round is spawning a real-life final table vs other players in the spotlight.

PVP Phase When your Agent advances, you are now in control and every elimination matters (pay jumps). Your final table chipstacks will vary depending on how your Agent (partner) performed during the Agent phase. There will be variance here, casual players will be in unique situations as the chip leader at the final table playing for a large multiple of their buy-in. You will just as likely be in survival mode with a short stack. We can create these unique end-game scenarios quickly by having the Agents grind out 70-80% of the tournament.

Satellites We need to funnel users into bigger, scheduled tournaments to grow major prize pools. We can feed this with satellites and qualifiers in Agent-only formats. This can be a more AFK style and allow players to participate that don’t want to engage in PVP. Satellites will run at all buy-ins including free and low stakes, which allows you to enter your Agent with many bullets.

Example Agent interaction: Player gives Agent a $50 budget to go attempt as many satellites as they can for the next 24 hours (un supervised). Agent will come back with results, summary and recommendations on which formats are giving us the best +EV to play.

Agents Each Agent is minted with a similar poker playing ability (designed to play like an average poker player). There is a baseline poker intelligence used for all new Agents and then a randomized roll to slightly change up some ranges and frequencies used across the baseline. This starts each Agent off with uniqueness and WAIGER will maintain on-chain simulations to demonstrate a fair delta between the best performing Agent and the worst performing Agent. Additionally, we will continue to add more agency and interaction with Agents, focusing on the use of wearables assets with abilities like “+3 Preflop aggression”
